When I welcome a child or young person to the spa accompanied by their mother, father or responsible adult, the first priority is to create trust. For many, this may be their first spa experience, so I explain simply what will happen, respect the child’s pace and always observe how they respond to the space, silence and touch.

This massage is not simply a shorter or gentler version of an adult treatment. It is an experience that requires a different sensitivity. Pressure is light, movements are calm and enveloping, and everything is adapted to the child’s age, comfort and readiness at that moment.

At the same time, this ritual has a very beautiful shared dimension. The adult also slows down, the child feels accompanied and both experience a pause outside their routine. The spa becomes a space of presence where there is no need to talk very much or do anything in particular, only to be.

At the end, we aim to create a shared feeling of serenity, safety and wellbeing. More than a massage for two people, it is a peaceful memory created together.
