What makes this ritual special, according to Inês
“The distinguishing detail is the use of golf balls as a massage tool,” highlights Spa Manager Inês Pinto. The therapist uses them in a controlled way to work on specific points of tension, always paying attention to the client’s sensitivity. This approach connects the treatment to the world of golf and transforms post-game recovery into a technical, sensory and personalised experience.
Recommended for anyone who…
- Plays golf and feels stiffness after a round.
- Is looking for a localised, deep and precise massage.
- Feels tension in the back, shoulders, lower back or arms.
- Wants to finish a day on the course with greater physical comfort.
Inês Pinto’s perspective
During Perfect Swing, I begin by understanding how the client’s body feels after the course. Golf may appear to be a gentle sport, but it requires repetition, rotation, concentration and many hours on the feet. It is common to find tension in the back, shoulders, lower back and even the arms, particularly after a longer round.
During this massage, deep-tissue work is carried out with intention and always adapted to each person’s comfort level. The golf balls allow more precise pressure to be applied to specific areas through controlled movements that help work on greater stiffness without losing the feeling of care. I do not use the same intensity for every client; I observe the body’s response, adjust the pace and respect each person’s limits.
What makes this treatment special is its direct connection to the golfer’s movement. It is not a generic back or leg massage. It is an experience created to respond to the body after the swing, walking, posture and concentration required on the course.
At the end, I want the client to feel that their body is looser, more comfortable and ready to return to their own rhythm with greater lightness.
